Sail is available in the official ChatGPT Plugins Directory, so you do not need developer mode or a server address:

1. In ChatGPT, select Plugins in the sidebar. You can also open the Plugins Directory directly
2. Search for Sail and open its listing
3. Select Install plugin if shown
4. Start a chat and mention @Sail, or choose +, then More, then Sail

Try asking:

• “Use Sail to compare rides from Accra Mall to Kotoka International Airport.”
• “Use Sail to plan a trotro trip from Kwame Nkrumah Circle to Madina and tell me where to board.”

If your account shows Apps instead of Plugins, use that directory. Availability can depend on your ChatGPT plan, region, and workspace settings.

Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients

1. Open the client’s MCP, Tools, or Connectors settings
2. Choose the option to add a custom remote server
3. Name it Sail and enter https://sailrides.co/mcp as the server URL
4. Choose Streamable HTTP if the client asks for a transport, then save or connect

The labels vary between clients. If yours asks for a JSON server definition, use:
